Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site operations across SSE projects, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of works.
- Operate under CAT3 Authorisation, taking responsibility for site safety, control of works, and compliance within SSE network requirements.
- Ensure all works comply with SSE standards, CDM 2015, HSG47, and relevant industry regulations.
- Coordinate civil and/or electrical installation activities including ducting, trenching, reinstatement, substations, cabling, joint bays, and associated infrastructure.
- Lead site teams and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to RAMS, permit systems, and quality standards.
- Conduct site briefings, toolbox talks, and daily activity coordination meetings.
- Monitor programme, resources, and productivity to meet project milestones.
- Liaise with SSE representatives, Project Managers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure collaborative delivery.
- Manage inspections, audits, and documentation including ITPs, permits, and as-built records.
- Identify and mitigate risks in live operational environments.
