About the role: An engineering design and construction client of mine is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to be based out of their Lancashire office. Through innovative Design , Installation, Commissioning and maintenance, this client has a significant pipeline of projects including major private infrastructure network developments , microgrid solutions, Gas / Hydrogen based generation and Grid support through Battery storage schemes. To enable us to fully deliver these projects we are looking for an innovative 11kV Design Engineer with experience of DNO and Client-side projects at 11/33kV from initial concept and feasibility through to procurement specification , construction phase design and Commissioning. They are a commercial organisation who generate leads and prospects from multiple clients including DNO’s for work either owned and operated by a DNO or Private Commercial, NHS, Airports and large manufacturing customers operating in a commercial environment.
