Our HV design consultancy client is on the lookout for an EHV Design Engineer to supplement their dynamic and thriving Design Office on a permanent basis. The EHV Design Engineer will perform and/or assess all preapproval life cycle stage activities for EHV and complex HV systems including works being carried out by external vendors. The candidate will also be responsible to carry out and/or assess Power Systems studies and analysis deploying standard Power System Tools, to enunciate and validate the final technical design along with drawings and specifications. The candidate will work with internal teams across all Branches, and with vendors as needed, to arrive at commercial options and document them.The candidate shall interact with the end customers, adopting undertakers and all relevant stakeholders for approval / reviewing of the design drawings and specifications.
