We are currently looking for an EHV Connections Designer to join a market-leading team delivering critical infrastructure projects for major DNOs.
The Role at a Glance:
- Technical Variety: Lead on design and costing for LV, 11kV, and 132kV projects, covering new connections, diversions, and asset replacement.
- Generation Focus: Determine PoCs for load and generation enquiries and oversee jobs through to Witness Testing.
- Strategic Impact: Propose cost-effective network solutions and present business cases for high-level authorisation.
- Flexibility: Based out of either Leeds or Colchester, offering a hybrid working arrangement.
What we are looking for:
- Education: HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Technical Skill: Proven proficiency in LV/11kV design (EHV/132kV experience is highly valued).
- Attributes: A self-sufficient, motivated designer who thrives under deadline pressure and communicates effectively with stakeholders.
