We are currently working with a major Renewable Energy client on a utility‑scale BESS project in the midlands.
Required Skills
- Civil/Structural Engineer with deep knowledge and experience of Substation civils design, including:
- Foundation slabs
- Equipment layout design
- Cable trenching/ducting
- Retaining structures
- On substations up to 400 kV
Role Details
- The role is primarily remote, with occasional office presence (approx 2 days per month) and provision to set up a temporary office on‑site in Stoke if required.
- 6‑month initial contract with very high likelihood of extension
- Approx. rate £55‑£60 per hour
- Outside IR 35
- 2‑week reciprocal notice period
