About the role
I’m currently leading a search for a HV Cable Design Engineer to join a large design, engineering and project delivery consultancy who sit in the HV/renewables sectors, specialising in OHL, HV cable and substation works. The HV Cable section of the business is growing rapidly and has a vast array of clients (DNO, National Grid and private) and exciting projects from LV through to 400kV. The role would entail cable system design, studies, and calculations to relevant BSEN/IEC/National Grid/DNO/ENA standards and practices, amongst other responsibilities.
The Essentials:
- Experience: 2+ years of HV cable design experience, with expertise in CYMCAP or similar software.
- Qualifications: Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Location: Fully remote.
- Package: £50,000 – £70,000 (dependent on experience).
