We're working with a growing HV/EHV power infrastructure business, looking for an experienced Operations Director to lead operational delivery as it scales into National Grid-level work. This is a genuinely rare opportunity - you'll have the scope to build your own team from the ground up, shape the direction of the business, and take on a long-term stake as it develops.

Open on background - Senior Project Managers, Heads of Construction, Operations Managers and Project Directors will all be considered, provided you can demonstrate the operational and commercial capability to lead at a senior level.

  • Building and hiring your own delivery team as the business expands into National Grid-scale work
  • Overseeing commercial, programme and safety performance across multiple live projects
  • Supporting major live tenders, including a data centre scheme and a major utilities contract
  • Sitting as a senior voice in the leadership team, with real influence over the business's direction

National Grid or NG contractor-side experience beneficial, not essential.

A track record of commercial and programme delivery across multiple concurrent projects.

Experience building or scaling a team - or clear ambition and capability to do so.

Genuine ambition to grow into a senior leadership role and invest long-term in the business.
