Overview
We are supporting a leading utilities contractor delivering a major high-voltage (HV) cable installation project as part of a wider transmission programme in Scotland. An experienced Project Manager is required to take full ownership of a 12km multi-circuit cable route, ensuring safe, efficient, and on-time delivery across a complex linear infrastructure scheme.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of a multi-circuit HV cable installation project
- Coordinate and oversee civils workstreams, including:
- Trenching
- Ducting
- Reinstatement
- Access works
Key Requirements
- Proven experience delivering HV/EHV cable projects
- Strong background in civils works (trenching, ducting, reinstatement)
- Experience working on transmission, DNO, or utility-scale infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple work fronts on linear infrastructure schemes
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised with a proactive, delivery-focused mindset
Desirable Experience
- Experience on large-scale UK transmission programmes
- Familiarity with Scottish infrastructure projects or similar environments
This is a site-focused, hands-on role requiring regular on-site presence.
