We are working with a well-established mechanical services provider delivering high-quality solutions across commercial environments. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their service and maintenance team. This is a mobile role involving a mix of planned and reactive works across a varied portfolio of sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a range of air conditioning systems
- Diagnose faults and carry out reactive repairs efficiently
- Service and maintain systems including split units, VRV/VRF systems, chillers, AHUs and associated plant
- Complete installation and commissioning works where required
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety regulations and industry standards
- Accurately complete job sheets, reports, and compliance documentation
- Liaise professionally with clients and site contacts, providing technical advice where needed
- Identify system improvements and report any additional works
Requirements
- Proven experience working as an Air Conditioning / HVAC Engineer
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience working on commercial HVAC systems (VRV/VRF, splits, chillers, AHUs etc.)
- F-Gas certification (essential)
- Relevant NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent in Air Conditioning / Refrigeration (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team
Working Hours & Call-Out
- Monday to Friday, full-time role
- 1 in 5 call-out rota (with additional earnings available)
