We are working with a well-established mechanical services provider delivering high-quality solutions across commercial environments. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their service and maintenance team. This is a mobile role involving a mix of planned and reactive works across a varied portfolio of sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a range of air conditioning systems
  • Diagnose faults and carry out reactive repairs efficiently
  • Service and maintain systems including split units, VRV/VRF systems, chillers, AHUs and associated plant
  • Complete installation and commissioning works where required
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety regulations and industry standards
  • Accurately complete job sheets, reports, and compliance documentation
  • Liaise professionally with clients and site contacts, providing technical advice where needed
  • Identify system improvements and report any additional works

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as an Air Conditioning / HVAC Engineer
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Experience working on commercial HVAC systems (VRV/VRF, splits, chillers, AHUs etc.)
  • F-Gas certification (essential)
  • Relevant NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent in Air Conditioning / Refrigeration (desirable)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team

Working Hours & Call-Out

  • Monday to Friday, full-time role
  • 1 in 5 call-out rota (with additional earnings available)
