About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to oversee and manage multiple mechanical contracts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming works, valuing variations, and ensuring the successful delivery of mechanical projects. This is an office-based role with regular site visits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle of mechanical contracts, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Oversee up to three projects simultaneously, each ranging between GBP1m - GBP10m in value.
- Develop and manage project programmes, ensuring smooth delivery of works.
- Assess, value, and process variations, ensuring commercial control.
- Work closely with site teams to maintain quality and compliance with industry standards.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met.
- Regularly visit project sites to monitor progress and resolve any issues.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in mechanical contract management within the construction or M&E sector.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, handling values between GBP1m - GBP10m.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, installation processes, and industry regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- Preferably located in Kent.
