Our client has an immediate requirement for a site supervisor / Quality controller to oversee works on a large rainscreen project. Candidates applying should have direct knowledge of rainscreen installation from a trade background to supervision or management. Successful candidates must have a CSCS card and some previous experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities
- Oversee quality of installation, overcome install problems and liaise between the site team and technical department.
- Communicate effectively at all levels and manage and push sub-contractors to ensure works get pushed.
- Understand construction techniques, check quality and ensure works get completed.
- Think on your feet and take a common sense approach around site.
- Use basic IT applications, especially Word and Outlook.
- Communicate at different levels, from managing and pushing sub-contractors to liaising with management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a similar role.
- CSCS card.
- Ideally SSSTS / SMSTS and first aid.
- Site construction experience.
- Eye for detail.
- Proficient in IT applications such as Word and Outlook.
- Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to carry out admin tasks with little supervision.
- Direct knowledge of rainscreen installation from a trade background to supervision or management.
