Our client has an immediate requirement for a site supervisor / Quality controller to oversee works on a large rainscreen project. Candidates applying should have direct knowledge of rainscreen installation from a trade background to supervision or management. Successful candidates must have a CSCS card and some previous experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee quality of installation, overcome install problems and liaise between the site team and technical department.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels and manage and push sub-contractors to ensure works get pushed.
  • Understand construction techniques, check quality and ensure works get completed.
  • Think on your feet and take a common sense approach around site.
  • Use basic IT applications, especially Word and Outlook.
  • Communicate at different levels, from managing and pushing sub-contractors to liaising with management.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working in a similar role.
  • CSCS card.
  • Ideally SSSTS / SMSTS and first aid.
  • Site construction experience.
  • Eye for detail.
  • Proficient in IT applications such as Word and Outlook.
  • Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to carry out admin tasks with little supervision.
  • Direct knowledge of rainscreen installation from a trade background to supervision or management.
