We're seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a dynamic team delivering high-profile projects for tier 1 main contractors. The role is based in Leeds, with projects nationwide, so flexibility to travel when required is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full project management of mechanical contracts across sectors including MOJ, Healthcare, and Education
- Prepare and present progress reports to clients and stakeholders
- Project planning and programming, ensuring deadlines are met
- Manage Health & Safety compliance on site
- Oversee and manage both direct and subcontract labour
- Control project budgets and deliver cost-effective solutions
- Maintain strong client-facing relationships
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Proven project management experience in mechanical services, ideally in tier 1 main contractor environments
- Strong HVAC technical knowledge and qualified in HVAC
- Hold SMSTS certification and Black CSCS manager’s card
- Sound financial acumen, able to manage budgets effectively
- Experience managing both direct and subcontracted teams
- Ability to travel nationwide as required
