Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

Type: Full-time, predominantly on-site (with occasional office days in Derby)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage HVAC and ventilation projects from contract award through to final hand-over.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise site activities, ensuring quality, safety, and programme targets are met.
  • Act as the primary on-site client contact, building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with technical specifications, installation standards, and health & safety policies.
  • Monitor project performance, budgets, and resources, reporting progress to stakeholders.
  • Work with design, estimating, and procurement teams to support smooth project delivery.
  • Resolve technical challenges and proactively mitigate risks on site.
  • Drive continuous improvement in site practices and client delivery.

Candidate Requirements

  • Demonstrable commercial HVAC project management experience, ideally in air conditioning and ventilation systems (VRF/VRV, multi-split, MVHR, etc.).
  • Strong experience managing commercial project types (offices, retail, healthcare, education, industrial).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the Derby-London corridor.
  • Relevant technical qualifications (HNC/HND/BEng or equivalent) or industry accreditations.
