Mechanical Engineer Location: Blyth, United Kingdom Employment Type: Full-time Working Arrangement: On-site Sector: Data Centres / Major Construction Projects About the Role We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join the project team on a major data centre development in Blyth, UK. You will support the delivery and coordination of mechanical works on site, ensuring activities are completed safely, on programme and in accordance with project specifications, drawings and quality standards. This is a hands-on site-based role, working closely with subcontractors, supervisors, engineers, designers and the wider project team. Key Responsibilities Support the coordination and delivery of mechanical works throughout the project lifecycle. Review and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications and technical submittals. Support site QA/QC processes and ensure mechanical works meet the required standards. Coordinate daily mechanical activities with subcontractors, supervisors and the wider project team. Monitor site progress and report programme status to senior engineers and management. Maintain and manage mechanical documentation, technical submittals and safety records.
