We are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join the frameworks team of an established environmental and civil engineering contractor, supporting a major programme of asset operations and maintenance works across East Anglia, the East Midlands and Lincolnshire. The role will oversee the delivery of a varied programme of works, including grass cutting, vegetation and weed management, tree works, in-channel works, simple desilting projects and associated environmental maintenance programmes. This is a hands-on operational position, ideal for someone who enjoys being out on site, managing teams and subcontractors, coordinating resources and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day delivery of site-based environmental and civil engineering works
  • Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and operational resources
  • Allocate work and supervise delivery to ensure programmes are completed safely and efficiently
  • Prepare works for delivery, including plant, materials, labour and site requirements
  • Supervise grass cutting, vegetation management, tree works, in-channel and desilting projects
