Since our establishment in 2020, we have developed and commercialised an innovative active damping system that is now being deployed across a range of sectors internationally. As the business continues to grow, we are expanding our engineering team to support the development of new products and technologies over the coming years. About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to join a small, highly dynamic technical team. You will play a key role in the development of new electronic products, taking projects from early-stage prototypes through testing, optimisation and certification to mature, market-ready products. This is a hands-on engineering position offering the opportunity to work across electronics design, embedded systems, IoT, product development and certification. Key Responsibilities * Design and develop custom printed circuit boards (PCBs). * Take electronic products from initial concept and prototypes through to production-ready designs. * Work with 32-bit microcontrollers, IoT devices and embedded communication systems. * Lead technical communication with suppliers and external partners. * Identify, assess and mitigate technical risks throughout product development. * Carry out testing, fault finding, troubleshooting and design optimisation. * Lead product certification activities, particularly around IEC 61010 and EMC standards. * Prepare and maintain technical reports, specifications and test documentation. * Work closely with firmware, mechanical and other engineering disciplines. * Support the continuous improvement and development of existing and future product ranges. Skills & Experience * Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent industrial experience. * Chartered Engineer or near-chartered status preferred. * Strong practical experience with 32-bit microcontrollers and embedded systems. * Experience developing IoT devices and embedded communication interfaces. * Strong PCB design experience, ideally using Altium Designer. * Experience with electronics simulation tools such as SPICE. * Good understanding of electrical safety, EMC and radio communications standards. * Experience taking products through testing, certification and development into production. * Strong fault-finding, analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team
