Electrical Project Manager – AI / Data Centre Campus Location: Narvik, Norway Project: Large-Scale AI / Data Centre Campus Sector: Construction – Data Centres / Mission-Critical Infrastructure Employment Type: Contract / Full-time Working Arrangement: Site-based About the Role We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join the delivery team on a major AI / data centre campus in Narvik, Norway, supporting the development across the North and South campuses. This is a senior electrical delivery role with broad responsibility for electrical works across multiple packages, from construction through testing, commissioning and handover. The successful candidate will have direct data centre experience and a strong track record of managing complex electrical installations, subcontractors, Package Managers and project interfaces on large-scale construction projects. Key Responsibilities Take overall responsibility for the electrical delivery across multiple project packages. Manage and coordinate Package Managers, electrical subcontractors and installation teams. Plan and monitor electrical works against the overall project programme. Coordinate interfaces between electrical packages, MEP disciplines, construction teams and other project stakeholders. Review electrical drawings, specifications, method statements and technical documentation. Ensure electrical works are delivered safely, to specification, programme and required quality standards. Manage resources, materials, labour and subcontractor performance across the electrical scope. Monitor progress, identify risks and implement corrective actions to maintain programme. Lead coordination meetings and provide regular progress updates to project leadership. Manage technical queries, RFIs, design changes and construction issues. Ensure electrical installations comply with project specifications, applicable standards and statutory requirements. Coordinate inspections, testing and quality assurance activities throughout construction. Work closely with the commissioning team to ensure systems are ready for testing and commissioning. Support integrated systems testing, commissioning and final handover. Maintain accurate project records, reporting and progress documentation. Promote a strong safety culture and ensure all electrical works are carried out in accordance with project HSE requirements. Liaise with the client, consultants, contractors and wider project team to resolve issues and maintain delivery. Key Requirements * Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager on major construction projects. * Direct data centre / mission-critical experience is essential. * Strong experience managing complex electrical packages on large-scale projects. * Experience managing Package Managers, subcontractors and installation teams. * Strong understanding of electrical construction, testing and commissioning. * Proven experience managing project programmes, interfaces, resources and delivery. * Experience taking electrical works through construction, commissioning and handover. * Strong understanding of electrical drawings, specifications, technical documentation and construction methodologies. * Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. * Strong commercial, planning, risk and problem-solving abilities. * Ability to manage multiple packages and competing priorities in a fast-paced construction environment. * Relevant electrical engineering, construction or project management qualification is desirable. Desirable Experience * Hyperscale or large-scale data centre projects. * AI / high-density data centre environments. * High-voltage and medium-voltage electrical systems. * Generators, UPS, switchgear and critical power systems. * Electrical distribution and infrastructure. * Integrated systems testing and commissioning. * Previous experience working on large international MEP construction projects.
