QA/QC CSA Engineer Location: Blyth, United Kingdom Employment Type: Full-time Working Arrangement: On-site Sector: Data Centres / Major Construction Projects About the Role We are seeking an experienced QA/QC CSA Engineer to join the project team on a major data centre development in Blyth, UK. You will play a key role in ensuring that Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, drawings, standards and regulatory requirements. Working closely with the Construction Manager, Project Manager, engineers, design teams and subcontractors, you will develop and maintain quality processes, conduct inspections and audits, manage quality documentation and support the resolution and close-out of quality issues. Key Responsibilities Monitor and inspect CSA works to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, standards and regulations. Develop, implement and maintain project-specific QA/QC procedures for CSA works. Review and verify subcontractor method statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and quality documentation. Conduct site inspections and quality audits, raising Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) where required. Support the CSA team in identifying and resolving quality issues and implementing corrective actions. Work closely with design teams, project engineers and subcontractors to ensure timely resolution and close-out of quality matters. Ensure materials and workmanship are inspected, tested and documented in accordance with project requirements. Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing, certifications and quality documentation. Monitor quality performance and contribute to regular project reporting. Support project handover, ensuring completion of quality dossiers, O&M manuals and final QA/QC documentation. Promote a strong culture of quality, health, safety and compliance across all CSA activities. Requirements * Relevant Engineering or Construction degree or equivalent qualification. * Proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer on large-scale construction projects. * Experience within data centres, industrial, technology or other complex construction environments is highly desirable. * Strong understanding of Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) construction methods, standards and regulatory requirements. * Experience developing and implementing QA/QC procedures and managing ITPs and inspections. * Experience with NCRs, corrective actions, quality audits and construction documentation. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams. * Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational and reporting skills. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, technical and deadline-driven construction environment.
