Locations: Cuxton (Rochester) & surrounding areas and Manchester & surrounding areas
Salary: £32,000 – £39,000 (depending on location, skills, experience and qualifications)
Hours: 48 hours per week, with some flexibility to meet business needs
Contract: Full time, permanent and 3-6 months fixed term (potential for permanent)
We’re a small but ambitious landscaping company based in Kent, and we’re excited to be expanding both locally and into Manchester and the surrounding areas. It’s a big, bold and exciting step for us, and we’re looking for the right people to join and support us to deliver our sustainable projects across both regions. If you’re an experienced landscaper in either location who enjoys leading a team, taking pride in quality work, and wants to be part of a company with big plans and genuine opportunities to grow, this could be the role for you.
Key Responsibilities- Leading and developing a small landscaping team, working across various customer sites across Kent or Manchester and the surrounding areas
- Delivering all projects to required specifications and to an excellent standard
- Delivering all aspects of hard, soft and sustainable landscaping projects across both commercial and private sites
- Communicating directly with clients and representing the company in a positive, professional way
- Ensuring health & safety standards and any safeguarding requirements are always followed
- Solid landscaping experience (team leader or supervisor experience is a big plus)
- Confident running jobs and managing and developing team members on site
- Reliable, conscientious and motivated to produce the highest-quality work within set timeframes
- Flexible, adaptable and willing to go the extra mile when required
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
- Confident using digital communication and reporting tools on a daily basis
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- SSSTS certified (or able to complete training and gain certification quickly) along with other relevant plant and machinery tickets
- Willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate (required for some projects on school sites — we’ll support you through the process)
