Role in a Nutshell: You will manage metering and data services for customers’ portfolios, reviewing, negotiating and finalising metering contracts, maintaining a detailed contract database, overseeing planning, coordination and execution of metering projects, and managing contract renewals, terminations and amendments. You will build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, act as key liaison, lead performance review meetings and facilitate collaborative problem‑solving.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, industry partners and internal teams.
  • Manage a high volume of stakeholder and customer queries, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
  • Communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with customers, external partners and internal teams.
  • Lead regular performance review meetings with clients and external partners.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high‑quality metering reports to customers.
  • Deliver accurate reporting with added value and insight.
  • Align contract terms with project execution, ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Coordinate end‑to‑end delivery of metering projects, resolve operational challenges and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage complex project lifecycles from inception to completion.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Good organisational skills, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • High level of accuracy in contract documentation and compliance monitoring.
  • Ability to align contract terms with project execution and enable smooth transitions.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship‑management skills.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of industry regulation and changes.
  • Familiarity with smart metering operations, data flows and market roles.

  • Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays + your birthday off, increasing to 30 days after length of service.
  • Hybrid working – must be able to commute to Lytham office 2 days per week (moving to Fulwood this autumn).
