The Role in a nutshell: As a Project Manager (Metering) at Sustainable Energy First, you will be responsible for managing metering and data services for customers' portfolios. This role involves reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing metering contracts with customers and service providers, ensuring that terms are clear, fair, and align with organisational goals and regulatory standards. You will maintain a detailed contract database to ensure all contractual obligations are met and records are up to date. Additionally, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of metering projects, as well as manage contract renewals, terminations, and amendments as required. In this role, you will build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, industry partners, and internal teams. Effective communication is crucial, as you will act as the key liaison between all parties, ensuring seamless collaboration and timely resolution of queries. You will also lead regular performance review meetings with clients and external partners, facilitating collaborative problem-solving.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, industry partners, and internal teams. Experience in effectively managing a high volume of stakeholder and customer queries, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
- Internal & External Communications: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with customers, external partners, and internal teams. Ability to act as the key liaison between all parties, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. Experience in leading regular performance review meetings with clients and external partners, facilitating collaborative problem-solving.
- Report Delivery: Demonstrated ability to ensure timely delivery of high-quality metering reports to customers. Proficiency in delivering accurate reporting with added value and insight.
- Project Coordination: Ability to align contract terms with project execution, ensuring smooth transitions and successful project outcomes. Experience in coordinating end-to-end delivery of metering projects. Skilled at managing complex project lifecycles, resolving operational challenges, and driving continuous improvement in metering processes, data accuracy, and customer outcomes. Proven ability to manage complex metering projects from inception to completion.
Requirements: Experience in a similar role. Good organisational skills, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. Good Excel skills. High level of accuracy in contract documentation and compliance monitoring. Ability to align contract terms with project execution and ensuring smooth transitions. Coordinate end-to-end delivery of metering projects. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, industry partners, and internal teams. Good stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills. A good knowledge and understanding of industry regulation and changes. Familiarity with smart metering operations, data flows, and market roles.
