The Role in a Nutshell 🐿️ As a Business Development Executive, you will be at the forefront of our growth ambitions, proactively uncovering new opportunities, engaging prospective clients, and creating valuable connections that drive commercial success. This exciting role requires a motivated and results-driven individual who can consistently secure high-quality meetings, exceed performance targets, and support the continued growth of both their own pipeline and the wider team.

Requirements You will be responsible for;

  • Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities within the UK energy market.
  • Generating and nurturing leads through targeted outreach via phone and email whilst utilising the additional data platforms available.
  • Scheduling meetings and introductions between prospective clients and consultants.
  • Maintaining a healthy pipeline to support future targets.
  • Keeping accurate records within the CRM system.
  • Ensuring KPIs relating to the role are achieved then exceeded when necessary.

About you;

  • 2–5 years' experience in outbound business development.
  • Experience working in a volume driven, targeted outreach environment.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and client engagement.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with office/remote teams.
