  • Place subcontract orders in line with programme requirements, securing best value and ensuring full contract compliance
  • Place material orders, maintain accurate records, and provide required information to the finance team
  • Meet all deadlines as specified within the SBS Commercial Timetable
  • Produce detailed and accurate cashflow and revenue forecasts for each scheme
  • Prepare cost budgets prior to project launch and maintain them through monthly CVR processes
  • Produce monthly CVRs, ensuring all cost categories are reviewed and projections updated
  • Analyse subcontract packages and maintain an accurate SBS valuation of works
  • Ensure client and supply-chain variations are captured, priced, agreed and processed in a timely manner
  • Submit subcontract valuations within contractual timescales, including all necessary legal notifications
  • Prepare and submit client valuations, maximising value and maintaining strong cashflow positions
  • Support the contract team in ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with contractual obligations

In order to be successful in this role you must have:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience
  • 2 / 3 years' experience in a similar Quantity Surveyor role

  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Up-to-date technical accounting knowledge relevant to construction
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Full UK driving licence

It would be great if you had:

  • Experience within energy efficiency or social housing sectors
  • Experience supervising or managing people
