Role Description This is a fully remote, full or part time role for a Senior or Principal Consultant with at least four years experience in environmental economics and/or natural capital/ecosystem services. The role will involve undertaking and managing projects involving environmental/ecosystem service valuations, TNFD/CSRD-ESRS4 biodiversity and ecosystems assessments, natural capital assessments and accounts, cost benefit analysis, corporate nature strategies etc. In addition, you will be expected to help write proposals, identify work opportunities and bring in work. Qualifications and experience Four + years undertaking environmental valuation and/or natural capital/ecosystem services projects. Excellent academic credentials. Strong analytical, numeric and research skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively, independently and under pressure. Preferably a BSc and/or MSc in environmental/ecological economics. Or a BSc and MSc in relevant subjects – in particular with modules covering environmental valuation, natural capital/ecosystem services, natural resource management and ecology/conservation. Consulting experience is highly desirable. Strong interest in nature and conservation. Happy to work remotely, but with daily online team calls. Additional technical skills such as GIS, R, LCA are a bonus. Strong language skills also a bonus – in particular French, Spanish or Portuguese. Why join us?
