Role Description This is a fully remote, full or part time role for a Junior Consultant with ideally one to three years experience in environmental economics and/or natural capital/ecosystem services. The role will involve conducting background research on a range of topics as well as helping to undertake projects involving environmental/ecosystem service valuations, TNFD/CSRD-ESRS4 biodiversity and ecosystems assessments, natural capital assessments and accounts, cost benefit analysis, corporate nature strategies etc. Qualifications and experience Ideally 1 to 3 years experience in environmental economics/ecosystem services. Strong analytical, numeric and research skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively and independently. Preferably a BSc or MSc in environmental economics or ecological economics. Or both a BSc and MSc in relevant subjects with modules covering environmental valuation or natural capital/ecosystem services. Experience and strong interest in undertaking environmental valuation and in nature conservation. Other topics of relevance include natural resource management and ecology/conservation. Strong and demonstrated interest in nature and conservation. Completely happy to work remotely (with daily online team calls). Additional technical skills such as GIS, R, LCA are a bonus. Strong language skills also a bonus – in particular French, Spanish or Portuguese. Why join us?
