This role supports the management and optimisation of software assets, with a focus on licence compliance, accurate inventories, audit support and cost savings. It works across sourcing, procurement, IT operations and business stakeholders.

What you’ll do
- Maintain and manage software asset inventory and licence records.
- Administer software licences, including terms, usage rules, restrictions and product associations.
- Associate purchases, subscriptions and renewals with licences in the SAM tool.
- Support administration and maintenance of the SAM platform, including upgrades, interfaces and troubleshooting.
- Collect and reconcile installation data to determine compliance positions.
- Design and generate reports on compliance, liabilities and budgetary information.
- Analyse exception reports, investigate licensing risks and provide remediation plans.
- Support renewals and maintenance agreements, and help identify shelfware for reuse or cancellation.
What they’re looking for
- Have an associate degree or equivalent technical certification in IT or a related field.
- Have at least one year of experience in IT, software asset management, procurement or a related discipline.
- Understand software asset management principles and lifecycle processes.
- Have experience with software inventory tools and asset management platforms.
- Be highly organised, accurate and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Communicate well in writing, presentations and across international stakeholders.

- The role reports to the HPC Governance and Compliance Director.
- Flexera experience is highly desirable.
- Support is included for internal and external audits and certification efforts.
- The role contributes to software vulnerability management and intellectual property protection initiatives.
