What you’ll do
- Identify opportunities to adopt new technologies to meet current needs and anticipate future challenges.
- Develop software applications as part of a Scrum team.
- Learn technical skills, write code, conduct code reviews and testing.
- Work with Product Managers, Senior Engineers and Application Architects to shape new products and prioritise features.
- Take part in social activities, charity days, and projects with other apprentices, interns and graduates.
What they’re looking for
- A-Levels or equivalent, preferably in STEM-related subjects, at grade 5 or above.
- GCSE Maths and English at grade 5 or above.
- You must not already have Computer Science at Level 4 or a Software Engineering Level 4 Diploma.
- Applicants need to be eligible to work in the United Kingdom and meet apprenticeship funding rules.
- Creative, collaborative and curious with a desire to learn.
- An eye for detail and a passion for technology.
- Some entry-level software development, design or creative experience developing products or projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Additional role information
- The apprenticeship lasts 18 months.
- The programme includes continuous training and development with an external training partner.
- The work involves a range of programming languages.
