We are seeking dedicated and skilled Psychosexual Therapists to join our dynamic team. We currently havemore than 2 vacancies available and welcome applications from candidates who can offer a minimum of 2days per week, ideally 2.5 days. Tuesday mornings are mandatory working hours, to align with essential teamactivities. The remaining working days offer some flexibility and can be discussed at interview.This is a hybrid role, primarily delivered remotely. However, you are expected to be able to provide face-to-face sessions (subject to clinic room availability) in Kent, The service currently operates in multiple locationsacross Kent, including Ashford, Canterbury, Dartford, Gravesend, Maidstone, Tunbridge Wells and Margate.About the ServiceOur Psychosexual Therapy Service offers time-limited, structured therapy to individuals and couplesexperiencing sexual difficulties, as well as those with concerns around sexuality or gender. Main duties of the job

As a Psychosexual Therapist, you\'ll be responsible for:

• Managing a complex caseload independently, including assessing and delivering brief therapy
• Working with interpreters or advocates where necessary
• Safeguarding adults and children through appropriate risk management
• Contributing to service development and evaluation
• Maintaining accurate records in line with governance standards

About YouTo apply, you should have:

• A postgraduate diploma in Psychosexual Therapy (validated by COSRT or IPM)
• COSRT accreditation, or be actively working towards it
• A minimum of 200 hours of supervised clinical practice
• Experience in delivering brief, time-limited psychotherapy
• Knowledge of psychosexual therapeutic approaches, sexual health, gender, and sexuality
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

You must be registered with a professional body and adhere to its code of conduct. A full UK driving licence andthe ability to travel (if face-to-face work is agreed) is required.

Person Specification

Qualifications

• Postgraduate diploma in Psychosexual Therapy (validated by COSRT or IPM) COSRT accreditation or working towards accreditation

Experience

• Minimum 200 hours of supervised clinical psychotherapy practice
• Experience delivering brief, time-limited psychotherapy

Knowledge

• Understanding of gender, sexuality and sexual orientation awareness
• Specialist knowledge of therapeutic techniques, particularly in trauma
• Knowledge of national frameworks e.g. NICE, NSF
• Up-to-date knowledge of research-based psychological therapies
• Up-to-date knowledge of national debates in this area

Skills

• Ability to assess and treat a range of psychosexual difficulties in individuals and couples
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to explain clinically sensitive information clearly
• Able to manage own caseload and prioritise work effectively
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team
• IT literate and able to use digital clinical systems

Professional Requirements

• Current registration with relevant professional body and adherence to code of conduct

Other Requirements

• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel independently (if face-to-face work agreed)
• Commitment to safeguarding and understanding of capacity and consent
