Sussex Wildlife Trust in Brighton is recruiting a Trainee Community Engagement Officer to join our Wilder Communities Team on a 12‑month fixed-term traineeship. The role focuses on connecting local people with Deneway Nature Reserve, supporting events and engagement activities to inspire action for nature.

You will work with diverse communities, develop sessions, and gain training in:

  • Forest School
  • Brush cutter operation
  • Chainsaw safety
  • First aid

while gaining practical skills.
