Due to new contracts, we require 5 Field Based sales agents to work the South East area for Virgin Media. The position will primarily be selling to people in their own homes, but some business to business work will be expected of you.
Key Responsibilities
- The sales work will be based on presenting prospective customers with savings on Landline telephone, Super-fast Fibre Optic Broadband, Premium HD/3D Television channels and Mobile telephony based products on Virgin Media's networks.
- You will present via a tablet device, keeping the presentation short but informative. The name of the task is to catch their imagination and to spark interest, almost immediately.
- You will be friendly, but not patronising, helpful but not cheesy.
Requirements & Provided Resources
- You will be provided with a company Mobile, tablet device, laptop computer, Mobile Broadband connection and a fully expensed company vehicle, so a full UK driving license is essential.
- As you're visiting people's homes, an enhanced CRB disclosure will be done, prior to training even beginning!
Remuneration is purely commission based, however in your first six months, meeting the sales targets is well within reach and the client will guarantee you a minimum salary within your 3 month probationary period of £1,300 per month. Commission percentages increase with the amount of sales made per month, so the more you sell, the higher percentage you will gain!
Promotion to Area Co-ordinator, Area Manager and beyond is well within sight and all within 5 years service.
