Would you like to drive for a living? Do you have fantastic face to face customer service skills? Do you have a good knowledge of the road network in your local area and a full Driving License? Do you have a love of cars and keeping them in tip top cosmetic condition, ready for their delivery back to their owner? Our client puts real value in exceeding their customers' expectations of the service they receive. They are the UK's leading provider of accident assistance to non-fault accident victims.

We are looking for Service Delivery Drivers to join the team at their busy branch near Crawley. You will be responsible for the delivery and collection of fleet vehicles within a two-hour radius of your branch by using your knowledge of the local road network and by using maps and possibly a SatNav. You may be tasked to drive a recovery based vehicle to transport cars that are non-drivable following an accident, so therefore have an excellent driving history. Those candidates with C1, D1 or further driving qualifications would be a distinct advantage.

We need drivers who are free from CD/CU/DD/DR/IN offence codes, have no more than 6 points on their license over the last 5 years and are able to supply details to a DVLA disclosure. A 3 week on job training course, consisting of driver awareness, hazard perception and theoretical knowledge is included. History of some driving for a living is essential, whether this be Bus, Lorry, Courier or commercial van driving.

Ideally, we would like you to have a proven track record within a similar role or be an IAM, ex 999 services driver, have ROSPA certification or similar. Whatever your career background you'll be rewarded with an enjoyable working environment and of course, up to £25,460 per annum once permanent (this is temporary to possibly permanent), 45 hours per week, 33 days holiday per year, including bank and statutory holidays.

You must also take pride in the upkeep of the cars' appearances by valeting and cleaning vehicles and ensuring the repairs have been completed to a satisfactory level. You will also be required to demonstrate the controls of the loan vehicle to the customer and ensure that they are happy with the service they have received, so a keen interest in vehicles is essential also.

You will be employed on a 4 week rolling contract initially, to work Monday - Saturday including evenings. On average, we'll be looking for 45 hours per week, but this is negotiable with the service manager. Pay whilst under contract will be £11.85 per hour.

So if you fit the requirements of this role, please send your up to date CV with a FULL covering letter outlining your skills, experiences and employment history. Due to time constraints and sheer amount of candidates that we envisage applying, candidates who fail to send these or who do not demonstrate their skills, experience or employment history will not be considered for these roles.
