Sussex Teachers are seeking an Early Years SEND Teaching Assistant / 1:1 Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support a Reception pupil with additional needs at a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant, Early Years Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or Nursery Practitioner who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 SEND support for a Reception pupil in Early Years
- Support learning through EYFS play-based activities and structured lessons
- Encourage independence, engagement, and confidence
- Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO
Requirements
- Recent experience supporting children (school, nursery, childcare, youth work, or care settings)
- Ability to provide two professional references
- Availability Monday–Friday (8:45am – 3:15pm)
- Experience supporting SEND or SEN pupils, particularly physical challenges, is highly desirable
