Sussex Recruitment is looking for a Surface Mount Inspector for their Sussex based Manufacturing client. This person will be required to inspect surface mount assemblies (SMAs), to collate SPC figures and to rework SMAs as required. This role will initially be offered on a temporary basis but will become permanent after a 12-week probationary period has been passed.

Main responsibilities:

  • To inspect SMAs for soldering quality, component value and positioning using either manual or automated inspection methods
  • First off inspection
  • To clean SMAs as required
  • Serial number control
  • To comply with company ISO procedures
  • To ensure documentation is latest issue and where required completed accurately
