Our client is looking for an Administrator to help in their purchasing department, starting ASAP. Although initially a temporary position, this is an excellent opportunity for an ideal candidate looking for a permanent position, as the ideal candidate would be offered a permanent role after a suitable trial period, with an excellent salary of £23-27k depending on experience.
The ideal candidate will be a natural problem solver with excellent verbal/written communication skills and a good level of Office and Excel skills. This role is mainly planning and processing, extracting data and liaising and negotiating with suppliers.
- You must have excellent IT skills, including a good level of Office (setting up templates etc.) and Excel experience.
- Excellent telephone manner (incoming and outgoing calls).
- Strong and resilient to confidently investigate and chase suppliers by phone (not just email) to resolve delivery timeframes for the company.
