We are looking for a part-time (15 hours per week) Phlebotomist to join our Wadhurst Medical Group team, to provide a specialist resource for patients within our practice in collaboration with other members of the multidisciplinary team.
Job responsibilities will include:
- Identify patients, verify details, and explain procedures while reassuring nervous or distressed individuals.
- Perform venipuncture.
- Accurately label samples and ensure safe storage for delivery to the pathology lab.
- Maintain sterile working environments and follow infection control processes.
- Attend and participate in nurse and practice meetings
- Ensuring all mandatory training is up to date
