We are currently seeking a talented and passionate GP to join our dynamic team at Dolphins in Haywards Heath. We are part of Sussex Primary Care, a larger network that provides support, collaboration and development opportunities.
Dolphins is an established and growing practice of 10,500 patients in central Haywards Heath. We have a stable team of GPs leading a multi-professional clinical team. We offer a collaborative environment where we work together to deliver care to our patients. We value open communication and the whole team participates in a daily huddle where clinical queries are shared and we check in on how everyone’s day is going.
All our GPs take a turn as triage doctor. Non-triage doctors will see a mix of on-the-day and pre-bookable appointments. We have time set aside for non-patient facing clinical work and are supported by an efficient team behind the scenes who streamline workflow. We have embedded a robust clinical triage system which supports urgent on-the-day demand balanced with routine appointments.
SystmOne and teaching experience are an advantage. We are looking for GPs with:
- MRCGP, fully registered on NHS National performers list
- Team players who enjoy working as part of a multi-professional environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent clinical decision making skills
- Motivated and committed to developing the knowledge and skills required for the role and for ongoing professional development
You will benefit from:
- A supportive working environment with a collaborative approach and daily huddle
- Contract based on BMA model, 15 minute appointments and no more than 25 patient contacts per day
- Generous Study Leave (5 days per year for all GPs)
- Numerous other benefits such as car lease schemes and Ride to work scheme
- Full NHS pension
- Free on-site parking, a purpose-built building with light and airy consultation rooms and excellent staff facilities
- Paid medical indemnity and SPC’s Employee Assistance programme
- Peer and operational support with a supportive, approachable management team
- Being part of a growing company with great opportunities to develop as a result
