Overview
Are you an organised and proactive administrator looking to make a meaningful impact in a not-for-profit organisation that supports older people in Sussex? Were seeking a Support Services Administrator to join our friendly team in Seaford. In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll provide essential administrative support to our Directors and Senior Managers, helping to keep our organisation running smoothly. Opportunity to work from home part of the week.
Responsibilities
- Providing daily administrative support to directors
- Organising meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes
- Filter general information, queries, telephone calls and invitations to the directors
- Maintaining our digital filing system to record and track all documents and customer interactions
- Raising purchase orders
- Supporting with general enquiries from residents, contractors, and visitors
- Occasionally covering reception and customer service duties
What we’re looking for
- 2 years experience in an administrative role
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and minute-taking abilities and the ability to deal empathetically with residents
- Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ideally MS365
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- A positive, flexible attitude and a commitment to confidentiality
- Full mobility across Sussex is required, as some meetings to be minuted are held off-site at sheltered schemes or care homes. The postholder must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work purposes, insured for business use.
Hours
35 hours per week (9am – 5pm)
