Job Description We are looking for a part-time, Scheme Manager who has a passion for delivering great services to our residents in Mayfield and Heathfield. \n Responsibilities include: \n \n Dealing with day to day enquires relating to the scheme \n Monitoring the welfare of residents and contacting necessary agencies where appropriate \n Ensuring the general Health and Safety within the scheme and to carry out and document all Health and Safety checks \n Monitor the expenditure of the scheme budget, keeping within budgetary limitations \n Receiving and processing any repair works and monitoring their progress \n Liaising with outside agencies and suppliers \n Managing any potential complaints (e.g. anti social behaviour cases) \n Monitoring cleaning, gardening and other contractors' performance when on site, ensuring that works are completed to a satisfactory standard \n Responsible for management of void properties, ensuring that re-let targets are met \n Candidate Requirements\n \n Certificate in Supported Housing, Charted Institute of Housing or equivalent (preferred but not essential) \n Knowledge of Housing Benefit/Supporting People requirements and criteria \n A wide knowledge of health and social issues that may affect our residents \n At least two years Housing experience in a similar or related field (essential) \n Ability to deal with challenging and emergency situations in a calm manner \n Excellent customer service and communication skills \n GCSE level C (or equivalent qualification) in Maths and English (essential) \n The ability to drive with access to your own vehicle is essential due to the organisation being multi-site across Sussex within some rural areas \n \n Hours of work are Monday to Friday (25 hours per week, 5 hours per day to approx. 8am — 1pm) \n Locations \n \n St. Thomas of Canterbury Court, Mayfield, East Sussex, TN20 6BQ (20 hours per week) \n Waldron Court, Heathfield, East Sussex, TN21 8NZ (5 hours per week) \n \n Benefits \n \n 25 days' annual leave (excluding bank Holidays, pro rated for part-time staff) \n Contributory pensions scheme, with employer contributions \n Dedicated Employee Assistance Program (providing confidential support and advice) \n Refer a Friend bonus \n Free onsite parking available at both schemes \n \n \n PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE NOT OFFERING SPONSORSHIP \n \n JBRP1_UKTJ
