A Scheme Manager\’s job is varied and no two days are the same! You\’ll support our residents with another Scheme Manager at Clevedown, our peaceful sheltered housing scheme in Lewes. Clevedown has beautiful gardens much enjoyed by our residents Responsibilities include: Dealing with day to day enquires relating to the schemes Supporting residents to live independently and working with external agencies to make sure residents get access to the right services Ensuring the scheme is safe and all health and safety checks are carries out in line with policies and procedures Monitoring budgets and service charge accounts and making sure residents\’ homes are well maintained and repairs completed to a high standard Taking ownership and fully investigating any complaints received including anti social behaviour Monitoring cleaning, gardening and other contractors\’ performance when on site, ensuring that works are completed to a satisfactory standard Candidate Requirements Certificate in Supported Housing, Charted Institute of Housing or equivalent (preferred but not essential or willing to work towards) Knowledge of Housing Benefit requirements and criteria A wide knowledge of health and social issues that may affect our residents At least two years Housing experience in a similar or related field (essential) Ability to deal with challenging and emergency situations in a calm manner Excellent customer service and communication skills GCSE level C (or equivalent qualification) in Maths and English (essential) Ability to dive with access to own vehicle due to some SHC locations being in rural areas Employment Details Hours: 17 hours per week Location: Clevedown, Barons Down Road, Lewes, BN7 1EY Benefits 25 days\’ annual leave(pro rated for part-time hours, plusbank Holidays) Contributory pensions scheme, with employer contributions Dedicated Employee Assistance Program -providingconfidential support and advice Refer a Friend bonus Free on-site parking
