We are looking for a part-time Scheme Manager who has a passion for delivering great services to our residents in Mayfield and Heathfield.
Responsibilities include:
- Dealing with day to day enquiries relating to the scheme
- Monitoring the welfare of residents and contacting necessary agencies where appropriate
- Ensuring the general Health and Safety within the scheme and to carry out and document all Health and Safety checks
- Monitoring the expenditure of the scheme budget, keeping within budgetary limitations
- Receiving and processing any repair works and monitoring their progress
- Liaising with outside agencies and suppliers
- Managing any potential complaints (e.g. anti-social behaviour cases)
- Monitoring cleaning, gardening and other contractors' performance when on site, ensuring that works are completed to a satisfactory standard
- Responsible for management of void properties, ensuring that re-let targets are met
Candidate Requirements:
- Certificate in Supported Housing, Chartered Institute of Housing or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
- Knowledge of Housing Benefit/Supporting People requirements and criteria
- A wide knowledge of health and social issues that may affect our residents
- At least two years Housing experience in a similar or related field (essential)
- Ability to deal with challenging and emergency situations in a calm manner
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- GCSE level C (or equivalent qualification) in Maths and English (essential)
- The ability to drive with access to your own vehicle is essential due to the organisation being multi-site across Sussex within some rural areas

- Pay: £19,126.14 Annually

- Hours of work are Monday to Friday (25 hours per week, 5 hours per day to approx. 8am - 1pm)
- Locations: St. Thomas of Canterbury Court, Mayfield, East Sussex, TN20 6BQ (20 hours per week), Waldron Court, Heathfield, East Sussex, TN21 8NZ
