Let your brilliance shine with Sussex Housing. Additionally to Night Care Assistant duties your role will include:
- Supporting and assisting Deputy and Home Manager by providing leadership to the care team.
- Acting as the senior person on duty at night in the absence of the Deputy Manager and informing the Home Manager of any problems or concerns in relation to the Home.
- Acting as a role model and setting the standard for staff of person-centred care.
- Providing support to night care staff and acting as a champion for residents' safety and dignity.
- Acting within the care team and in accordance with organisational policies and procedures, to supervise, support and assist in the induction and training of the care staff.
Experience of providing support to people in a caring environment and understanding the needs of older people:
- Minimum two years' experience in care sector.
- Experience of writing, reviewing and recording of care plans.
- NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health.
