About You

You’re creative and a meticulous organiser. You’ll have boundless energy and love to design, arrange and facilitate activities on behalf of the residents. A great listener, you’ll put residents at the heart of everything you do. You’ll be able to identify the needs of individuals and groups and develop activities that are meaningful.

Job specifics include

  • To plan, organise and develop programmes of individual and group activities in response to our residents' needs and wants to address health (both physical and mental) and wellbeing.
  • To support residents to take part in social and community activities outside of the home.
  • To arrange for residents to take part in religious, spiritual and cultural activities that are meaningful to them.
  • To publicise the social programme and activities being offered, and monitor, record and report on activities delivered.
  • To work with the communications team to help promote the home and its activities.

All applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK. Hours of work: 17.5 hours per week.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience in working with older people and in a similar role required.
  • You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to motivate and inspire confidence and enthusiasm in residents and staff.
  • You will be a confident user of IT/Microsoft Office.
