Main Responsibilities:
- Working in designated areas as prescribed on a rotating basis and as instructed by the Home or Regional Manager.
- Vacuuming and cleaning residents' rooms, the corridors and all communal areas within the home to a high standard.
- Ensuring that the furniture, fittings including furniture, fabric, and equipment are also cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
- Being respectful of residents' personal belongings and helping contribute to their upkeep/cleaning (e.g. furniture) and that any objects that are removed for cleaning are replaced in the same position.
- Ensuring the residents are safe whilst carrying out cleaning tasks.
Candidate Requirements:
- Ability to recognise residents' rooms and belongings are personal and private.
- To demonstrate safe practice.
- Good communication skills.
- Maintain a polite and courteous manner towards residents, staff and visitors to the home at all times.
- Aware of health and safety and manual handling.

- Hours: 18 Hours per week
- Pay: £13.45 Hourly
- Location: Saxonwood, Battle
