We are Sussex Grange, a small and welcoming 20-bed residential care home in Selsey. The people we support typically have low-level care needs – this is not a nursing or dementia care home. As our residents grow older with us, some may require more assistance, and we are proud to adapt our care to meet their changing needs. With a strong reputation for kindness and compassion, we provide a safe, homely environment where both residents and staff feel valued and respected.
About the role
As a Care Assistant, you will be central to daily life at Sussex Grange. You’ll provide personal care, companionship, and support with activities and routines, helping residents live comfortably and with dignity.
We welcome both experienced care professionals and those with transferable experience from similar roles. What matters most is your empathy, reliability, and professionalism. In return, we’ll support you to grow your skills and qualifications as a care professional, with clear opportunities to progress your career.
Shifts available
- Mornings: 7am–2pm
- Afternoons: 2pm–7pm
- Evenings: 7pm–10pm
- Long days: 7am–7pm
- Both part-time and full-time positions are available. Alternate weekend working is required.
What we are looking for
- Previous experience in a care home or similar setting preferred
- Compassionate, professional and reliable
- Commitment to safeguarding and dignity in care
- Ability to travel to Selsey (driving licence or reliable transport is essential due to limited public transport)
