Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Deputy Manager role located in Selsey for Sussex Grange Limited. The Deputy Manager will work closely with the Home Manager to ensure residents receive the highest quality of care. Day to day responsibilities include supervising staff, organising care plans for residents, ensuring the home is compliant with CQC standards, and managing budgets and finances.

Qualifications

ALevel 3/4 qualification in a relevant field is preferred, but we welcome applicants who are willing to work towards this. More importantly, we are looking for the right person– someone with the passion, dedication and drive to uphold and enhance our standards of care. We provide full training and development opportunities for the right candidate.

  • Qualification in health and social care or similar (Minimum Level 2/3 and willingness to work towards higher qualification)
  • Experience in a supervisory or management role in a care home or similar setting
  • A thorough understanding of CQC regulations and standards
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with computer and data management systems
  • Ability to mentor and train staff
  • Experience in creating and implementing care plans
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • Clean enhanced DBS check
