Job Title: Pharmacy Assistant
We are seeking a reliable and conscientious individual with an aptitude for thoroughness and accuracy to join our team as a Pharmacy Assistant. The successful candidate will be part of a friendly and supportive pharmacy team, primarily based at Crawley Hospital, with some flexibility to work at other locations across East Sussex.
The role involves travel between various sites within East Sussex, including Crowborough, Uckfield, Lewes, Haywards Heath, and Hove. Travel expenses are covered when using your own vehicle, or you can access a trust pool car at Brighton General Hospital. Please note, due to recent UK immigration and visa rule changes, this role may not be eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Applicants without the right to work in the UK should review eligibility criteria on the gov.uk website before applying.
Main Duties:
- General distribution activities, including ward-based medicine top-ups
- Supporting administrative tasks such as managing medicine stock
- Dispensing medicines to patients
- Assisting with purchasing medicines and receiving deliveries
Good communication and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop new skills and gain comprehensive experience in pharmacy practice.
