The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

Caravelle Ward including Stroke Rehab is a 28 bedded rehab unit with 10 stroke beds and 18 general rehab beds. We provide a tailored rehabilitation programme to meet the individual patient needs and help them regain maximum function through realistic goal setting.

We are looking for a health care assistant to join our team. Knowledge of inpatient rehabilitation would be useful.

We are a team of RN, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Health care Assistants, Physiotherapist, Occupational therapist, Speech and Language Therapist, Rehabilitation Support Workers, Social Services team and a Ward Doctor who aim to maximize our patients potential to enable them to return home. We have a visiting Stroke and a Geriatric Consultant both from an acute hospital who see to and review stroke and medical patients respectively once a week. When that is not possible, we work closely with our Social care colleagues to plan the best outcome.

We are looking for a Health care Assistant who enjoys working as part of a friendly and supportive team. A health care assistant who applies the importance of prioritization and supports the team assertively. It is hard work but very rewarding-planning the patient pathway, enabling them to progress and supporting them through setbacks is what we do best.

As this is a 24 hours service, internal rotation will be operating.
