The predicted salary is between 42000 - 60000 £ per year.

As maintenance specialist, the post holder will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of building maintenance, engineering infrastructure, systems, and equipment. This will include guidance and support to Estates operatives to ensure compliance with legislation, local policy, and best practice. The post holder will also be responsible for managing the upkeep of the Estates Grounds and Gardens.

The post holder will be accountable to the Estates Engineering Manager for areas of responsibility including Lifting Equipment Regulations, Legionella and Water Systems, Low Voltage Electrical Safety, Medical Gases, and Critical Ventilation, assuming the responsibilities of the authorised person’s roles.

There will be an ongoing clear focus upon balancing the planned maintenance activities with the responsive repairs service. The post holder will deputise for the Estates Engineering Manager.

Based in the Capital Development Projects Team, you will work closely with other colleagues responsible for the delivery of delegated projects.
