Are you looking for regular weekday and weekend work that fits around your NHS schedule? Looking to join an outsourcing provider who gives you autonomy to structure your own clinics whilst putting patient care above everything they do? We are looking for consultants to run 2ww and general dermatology clinics.
Key Responsibilities:- To work with colleagues to deliver high quality care to patients referred from Primary and Secondary care for outpatient assessment, within an outpatient setting.
- Assess and manage a wide range of dermatological conditions, including skin cancer and inflammatory diseases.
- Participate in MDTs and support junior clinicians as part of a collaborative team.
- Be on the GMC Specialist Register in Dermatology or within 6 months of CCT.
- Full Licence to practice.
About Us: Sussex Community Dermatology Service (SCDS) and Kent Integrated Dermatology Services (KIDS) aim to triage a range of dermatoses effectively into clinics to enable a ‘see and treat’ approach during the patient’s initial appointment, reducing the need for multiple follow-ups. The services work alongside an experienced nurse prescribing team, comprising independent nurse prescribers qualified to manage patients on systemic and biologic therapies. Clinical offerings include day surgery, minor operations, dermoscopy, patch testing, photodynamic therapy, and phototherapy. The focus remains firmly on meeting patients’ needs and preferences, with their wellbeing placed at the heart of all decision-making.
We work with NHS trusts and integrated care boards to deliver over 100,000 new patient consultations annually including the full cancer pathway, biologics and subspecialities. We are a GMC recognised designated body for revalidation and provide annual appraisals for our consultants as part of this process.
