We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Skills Project Coordinator to support the delivery of the Sussex & Brighton Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) at Sussex Chamber of Commerce. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of regional skills development - collaborating with employers, training providers and stakeholders to help shape the future workforce across Sussex.
What you’ll be doing:
- Coordinating LSIP projects across multiple partners and supporting delivery of the 2026–2029 action plan.
- Managing timelines, reporting, and project documentation.
- Supporting stakeholder engagement across employers and partners.
- Organising meetings, events, and workshops.
- Labour market and skills data analysis.
- Tracking project plan progress and reporting on key outputs.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a project coordination / senior admin / operations role.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Confident managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint etc.).
- Experience and/or interest in skills, education, or workforce development (desirable).

The plans will help ensure provision is more responsive to emerging and changing skills needs and being locally driven, can be tailored to the challenges and opportunities most relevant to the area. Sussex Chamber of Commerce is the Employer Representative Body for the Sussex & Brighton LSIP – Future Skills Sussex.
